School of Rock
Students work with professional musicians to write, perform and record their own original song in one day. Lyrics express a chosen PSHCE theme - past songs have covered bullying, drugs, transitions, the environment. The whole class is involved in the creative process. The programme develops teamwork and encourages collaboration and respect among students. A CD of the song is produced for everyone in the class, including front cover design by class members.
